Gravelbiking - it's a joyride:

You can start a tour right at the very front of your house. Just by not thinking about where to go. Just heading anywhere. At the beginning of such day's journeys you wull find yourself on regular, paved roads most of the time. The first kilometers you already know like the palm of your own hand. But then you'll reach a point, where you see a small inconspicuous junction. Sometimes it's one you have never noticed anytime before. This is the time when curiosity is taking over. You are asking yourself: "Where is this gravelroad leading me to?". Just a few moments later you recognise that you are already on an unpaved path - completely filled with spirit of discovery and on two wheels.

Experiencing wind power: Between fascination & awe

Fast, faster, Speedkites:

Speedkites are pretty challenging, when it comes to one's own speed of reations. They look pretty unimpressive form afar - quite boring but almost almost all the time are some kind of a sly dog. A person who's flying speedkites experices extreme spins and rapid directional changes. They require a high level of attention. You have to focus thoroughly on this kite, to avoid a crash landing.

Powerkites: Getting to know one's own limits.

Compared to speedkites, powerkites are - for sure - not as speedy, but are able to develop a tremendous amount of force. This means that you can get pulled over a stubble field within just a blink of an eye due to severe wind gusts. In these moments only one thing is important, that you have fully internalized on how to be able to tame the kite in every(!) situation. Experiencing wind power in such will make you to know your own limits.

Yea, I know, there is a saying that: "there is no such thing as bad weather, but only bad clothing...". Anyhow, always when it's uncomfy weather outside, so that noone really likes to be outside, then I spend some time programming. Especially fascinating is, that the number of possibilities in programming is sheer infinite.
